Level up for literacy

Level Up for Literacy works to build classroom libraries in our community’s most in-need schools so that every child has access to books and the opportunity to improve their literacy skills.
Three out of four Nashville third graders are not reading on grade level. In Williamson County, 32 percent of students are not on track with their grade level.
Studies have shown that if children cannot read on grade level by the end of third grade, they are five times more likely to drop out of high school.
