United Way of Greater Nashville’s nonprofit partners are locally-focused organizations, providing programs and services in Davidson, Williamson, Robertson, Cheatham and Hickman counties.

Partners are represented in public and private sector workplace giving campaigns and are able to receive donor-designated gifts through these campaigns.

 

Interested in Becoming a Funded Partner?

An application is required every two years for current nonprofits who wish to renew their affiliation with United Way as well as new organizations interested in becoming partners.

United Way of Greater Nashville’s application process for the 2020-2022 funding cycle has been completed. The timeline for the next funding cycle will be posted when available in late 2021 or early 2022. All required forms will be posted here ahead of the application timeframe.

Interested in Receiving Designations?

An agency must meet the three initial requirements in order to apply for a designation code with United Way of Greater Nashville:

  • Must be certified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3)
  • Must serve one or all of the following counties: Davidson, Williamson, Robertson, Cheatham and Hickman counties
  • The majority of services provided must be in the health and human services field
