In 2017, United Way of Robertson County’s Board of Trustees voted to shut down operations at the close of 2018. After discussions with the staff and leadership at United Way of Robertson County, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville chose to take on responsibility for operations in that area. Effective Jan. 1, 2019, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville added Robertson County to the areas it serves. In an effort to ensure that the nonprofit partners continue to receive the support and service they need to ensure the health, education and financial stability of its community members, UWMN will also step up and continue to fund all nonprofit agencies originally funded by UWRC. United Way of Metropolitan Nashville looks forward to supporting the many agencies in Robertson County and will work diligently to meet the pressing needs of that community.
