DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
A grant from your donor-advised fund (DAF) to United Way of Greater Nashville (UWGN) brings the community together to develop, fund and scale collective solutions. Your DAF grant can help the UWGN address our most pressing problems.
Three ways to give through a donor-advised fund:
1. Recommend a grant from your DAF through your fund administrator
You can recommend a gift to the UWGN by contacting your fund administrator or by making a grant recommendation online. Find your fund administrator below.
2. Set up recurring grants from your DAF
You can set up recurring grants to help sustain the life-changing mission of UWGN. This can be done online or by contacting your fund administrator and choosing your grant frequency.
3. Name UWGN as the beneficiary of your DAF
You can help continue the mission of UWGN after your lifetime by naming UWGN as the beneficiary of your DAF. Simply contact your fund administrator to do so. Learn more about legacy giving at UWGN.

$250 – gives food assistance to 48 families of four to improve their food security
$500 – helps 23 children to increase their literacy and/or numeracy skills
$1,000 – assists 29 individuals with services to improve their physical health
$5,000 – provides training opportunities for 192 people to improve their job skills and self-sufficiency
$10,000 – assists 155 individuals during a crisis or disaster emergency
$25,000 – decreases the dropout rate by providing supports for 3,000 at-risk students to help them achieve and graduate on time.
$50,000 – helps low-income households maintain critical utility services while promoting stable housing and a basic standard of living for area residents.
