Student Ambassadors
We welcome high school students passionate about making an impact.
At United Way of Greater Nashville, we welcome the power of community voices to amplify our mission. Student Ambassadors are leaders who inspire volunteerism in their schools and communities. They actively participate in United Way events, recruit peers, and help spread awareness about giving back. Completion of the program comes with certification, recognition, and meaningful impact on our community.
AMBASSADOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Attend at least 4 volunteer events throughout the school year. Bring a minimum of 2 friends to each of the 4 volunteer events through United Way or Hands On.
- Participate in at least one United Way Day of Action (e.g. Stuff the Bus)
- Spend at least 3 hours volunteering for one or more United Way Community Impact programs (e.g. Raise Your Hand, Read Baby Read)
- Share one piece of content from each event attended and tag United Way. This should be photos or videos on your team volunteering. Use creative ways to share (stories, posts, or a dedicated page).
- Table at 2 school events to promote United Way volunteer opportunities (materials will be provided).
- Actively recruit peers to join as ambassadors and get involved in community service!
PROGRAM BENEFITS:
