Tracey Dill will begin leading impact team January 1, 2025.

United Way of Greater Nashville (UWGN) announced on June 24, 2024, that Erica Mitchell, Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer, UWGN will be the new Chief Executive Officer beginning January 1, 2025.  Her Chief Community Impact Officer successor will be Tracey Dill.

For 13 years, Tracey has served various roles on the UWGN community impact team.  She has excelled and served the Community Impact Department in several capacities, starting as our first Senior Manager of Financial Stability, where she planned and secured the grant to start the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) in partnership with the City of Nashville. The Nashville FEC model she built positioned her to be a highly sought after national speaker and provider of technical assistance to other cities starting financial empowerment centers. In her current role, Tracey leads our Community Impact Funding process (CIF) and Regional Managers, while aligning and expanding the CI work across all nine counties.

She has been a leader in the disaster recovery space and was responsible for coordinating nonprofits and implementing a shared database making client triage and recovery more efficient over the last several years. She has an outstanding track record of community leadership, broad, multi-sector relationships and is deeply respected both internally among her peers and externally in the nonprofit, government, corporate and philanthropic spaces.

“We are thrilled to announce that Tracey Dill will be stepping into the role of Chief Community Impact Officer. As a dedicated and hardworking member of our organization, Tracey has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to our mission. We are confident that her expertise and passion will drive our community impact to new heights in 2025,” said UWGN CEO Brian Hassett.

“I am incredibly proud to pass the torch to Tracey as the new Chief Community Impact Officer. Having worked closely with her over the years, I have seen firsthand the unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions to our organization. I am confident that she will continue to drive our mission forward with the same passion and commitment that has always been her hallmark,” says UWGN CEO-Elect Erica Mitchell.

Earlier this year, UWGN’s CEO Brian Hassett announced his retirement.  An executive taskforce made up of a diverse cross section of UWGN board of trustee members, community stakeholders and philanthropic partners was charged by the board to identify a new CEO.
