SNAP Emergency Response
Food insecurity negatively impacts nutrition which is critical for children to grow and develop and for adults to live healthy lives. With the delay and partial funding of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), it would impact 690,000 Tennesseans enrolled in this program which provides an average monthly benefit of $300 to afford healthy food.
