Supporting Fort Campbell’s Heroes

United Way of Greater Nashville is proud to launch Mission United, a new initiative dedicated to serving the brave active-duty military, veterans, and their families at Fort Campbell.

Our mission is to connect these heroes with essential, free resources—ranging from housing support and employment opportunities to mental health services and financial assistance. Together, we ensure that those who serve our nation receive the support they need and deserve.

The Gift of Reading
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails one new, age-appropriate book each month to any child from birth until age five at no cost to the family. The books arrive in the child’s name and are theirs to keep, read and enjoy. We welcome every child from birth to age 5 in every Greater Clarksville family to participate. Parents are encouraged to enroll siblings so that each child can receive their own book in the mail. If you would like to enroll a child or children under the age of 5, click here.

Returning Dollars into the Community
The IRS created the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to provide free tax preparation for low-income and at-risk taxpayers with the help of community partners and volunteers. Each year, United Way volunteers help thousands of individuals and families prepare their taxes. All filing options available at unitedwayfilefree.com.
