United Way of Greater Nashville (UWGN) announced its latest round of community impact funding, awarding critical support to local nonprofit organizations working to address the region’s most pressing needs. The funding will help strengthen programs focused on education, economic mobility, health and basic needs, ensuring vital resources reach individuals and families across Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, and Williamson counties.

$7.5 million in funding has been allocated to support 184 agencies, including 40 newly funded partners. We’re excited about the impact this investment will make in our community beginning July 2025. County recipient lists:
Cheatham
Davidson
Dickson
Greater Clarksville Region: Houston, Montgomery Stewart
Hickman
Robertson
Williamson

“Our community impact process is built on the strength of volunteers who care about improving community conditions across our 9-county footprint,” said UWGN President and CEO Erica Mitchell. “Each year, many dedicated community volunteers spend hours reviewing applications, asking hard questions, and making thoughtful funding decisions. Their involvement, along with the guidance of our board, ensures that donor dollars go to programs making the greatest difference. Together, we’re not just funding services—we’re fueling hope, stability, and opportunity for our neighbors who need it most.”
