United Way of Greater Nashville (UWGN) announces the 2024 Patricia Hart Society Board. The Patricia Hart Society is a vibrant group of dedicated United Way supporters, of all ages and backgrounds, who share a passion for the mission of United Way and to the Greater Nashville community
Named for Patricia Hart, a Williamson County resident and longtime community volunteer, the Patricia Hart Society (PHS) provides opportunities for its members to lend their time, talents and energy to supporting United Way’s early childhood education and literacy work. While comprised primarily of female supporters, the Patricia Hart Society is open and welcoming to all.
PHS members pledge a minimum annual gift of $500 to UWGN and truly create lasting change in our community. This gift can:
- Send 25 at-risk kids to a safe, educational summer camp
- Provide rental assistance for a single parent struggling to pay bills while they go back to school
- Ensure a youth receives counseling and mentorship to avoid juvenile detention
- Provide training to help someone find a better job so they can support themselves financially
