Every year at United Way’s Stuff the Bus Day of Action, you’ll find Hans leading assembly lines, hauling stacks of boxes and moving dollies—long after his volunteer shift has technically ended. Hans has always been passionate about education. But when his daughter started Kindergarten, everything changed. “It’s wild to see how important those formative years are for kids in building their confidence,” he says. That’s why when he’s not helping students land careers after graduation with ThinkingAhead, he’s pouring his heart into Stuff the Bus, Read to Succeed and Level Up for Literacy every chance he gets.
